owned the book.

Korea in the late 90s ran on rental shops. You paid 500 won, slid Dragon Ball off the shelf, and came back the next day. Nobody cared if you were nineteen or forty-five. The timer did. We think NFTs should work the same way.

The shelf is sacred.

In a real manhwa-bang you do not buy the book. You lease it for a night, return it by morning, and the shelf keeps on turning. Mnhwa is the same bargain on-chain.

Deposits, not trust.

Every rental locks an on-chain deposit inside a PDA escrow. If the renter vanishes, the keeper simply pops the timer and the deposit snaps back to the owner.

Built for cNFTs.

Metaplex compressed NFTs are cheap enough to be treated like paperbacks. Mnhwa registers the delegate, hands the reader a keyring, and auto-returns on expiry.

Set the timer.

The whole shop is four moves. A keeper cron on Railway watches every active rental; when the end-time hits, anyone can call force_return and the deposit snaps back.

    Pick

    Browse the stack, tap a spine. The counter shows the daily rate, deposit, and max lease pulled from on-chain delegate hints.

  2. 02

    Set the timer

    Choose 1h / 6h / 24h / 7d. The escrow PDA calculates pro-rated fee + deposit and quotes the wallet.

  3. 03

    Sign

    One Phantom signature lodges the deposit and mints a rental receipt cNFT. The shelf marks the volume as leased.

  4. 04

    Return

    Return early and get the unused fee back. Miss the timer and the keeper crank ends the lease for a 5% tip.
